SOCIAL: Ted Lindsley ted.lindsley@invene.com

A neighborhood Octoberfest / Beerfest outside, sometime in the first 2 weeks of October. Not much to share yet but think festive German folk music, brats on the grill with the usual side dishes, and some quality beers. Volunteers and ideas are absolutely appreciated. Hope to have it formulated by mid-Sept with a firm date.

Poker night was a resounding success, reuniting some spectators and drop-ins, as well as a full table of participants. The next one should be in early December.

Woman’s Monthly Book Club: is FUN and a great occasion to visit with neighbors! Reading the book is optional but recommended, we always have an interesting review. The new book is “Hotel Nantucket” by Elin Hilderbrand. Book Club will meet on Tuesday, September 13 at 7 pm. The hostess is Laurie McMillan, 1508 Court Meadow. Please feel welcome to join us!
