City of Plano Property Standards

A voluntary homeowners association (HOA) or neighborhood association like Reflections of Old Shepard Place HOA has no legal authority to enact or enforce maintenance or design requirements beyond those established by city ordinance.

We receive more complaints about yard and fence maintenance than any other issue in our Annual HOA Member Meetings. Keeping a well maintained yard and fence does matter to many Reflections of Old Shepard Place residents and property owners. So if you want to have good relations with your ROSP neighbors, it would be a good idea to know about city ordinances regarding property codes.
